Greetings From The Chairman

Praise the Lord for all His many blessings! 

SHABACH! Ministries, Inc. is excited about the changes in the organization that better our ability to “develop dynamic communities, for generations to come, by meeting the need, giving hope, and teaching to soar.”  This year, we have made several advancements in our organizational structure.   

We have consolidated from four divisions to two. SMI is now comprised of an education division and a community services division. Our education division, SHABACH! Christian Academy, includes day care, elementary, middle, and high schools as well as before and after care, a summer enrichment program, and homeschool administration. Our community services arm, SHABACH! Community Services, will be increasing the volume of food donated from our emergency food pantry by 50% this year. Our Webpage Design Program initial roll-out was a huge success with 18 students participating in the program.  Phase II of the Webpage Design Program is scheduled to start with two classes in late September. 

Our team of over 140 staffers is committed to serve and, through them, we have a positive impact on the community. 

Finally, we could not be SHABACH! without the support, love, and encouragement of our Chairman Emeritus, Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr., the Elders, and the First Baptist Church of Glenarden family.  We really do love you!
