Greetings From The President

The theme for SHABACH! Ministry Day this year is “Serving the Community.”  So how do we serve? 

First, our staff is being transformed to perform.  In order to serve properly, we are firming up our certifications, training, and development in preparation for this special season before us.   

Second, we are transforming our programs.  Before and After Care has implemented several new programs from Drama Enrichment and Sign Language to Fashion Design.  Our K-8 program has a new teacher development initiative which will equip teachers to empower our future leaders today.  Our Community Services Division is launching its new Job Readiness Program in late September which includes four 40-hour employment sessions for those either unemployed or underemployed. 

Finally, we are transforming our position from reactive to proactive.  We are repositioning ourselves to better serve our youth with educational programs on HIV/AIDS, to better serve our seniors with a new Adult Day Care Center, and to serve the sick and shut in by partnering with non profits who provide wheelchairs for those who are homebound. 

We are being transformed to better serve the community.  Catch the vision, join us, and be transformed!
